Frequently asked questions

No. Preventiv is for any business that prices work before doing it: trades and builders, workshops and factories, agencies and consultants, events, travel, garages, clinics and training. At signup you pick your industry and the app adapts its wording, units, templates and documents. Construction keeps its full toolset: measurement sheets, price analyses, progress billing (SAL / situacion) and safety costs.

Your industry sets the words (project or event, chapter or phase), the units, the starter price list, the templates and the website presets. Modules switch features on or off for the whole company: measurements, cost breakdowns, progress billing, change orders, time and rates, recurring lines, options, schedule and budget tracking. Change both any time in Settings › Company; nothing is deleted.

Yes. Mark items as optional or group alternatives (for example three finishes or three service levels). On the share link the client ticks what they want and the totals, VAT included, are recalculated by the same engine as the PDF. Monthly or yearly items (subscriptions, maintenance, rentals) get their own recurring total.

Yes. With the time and rates module you keep a rate card per role (developer, designer, consultant, technician), plan the work in phases as hours × rate, and invoice at once, by milestone or every month. Fixed-price items and hours sit in the same offer.

Every industry starts with a starter price list and templates you can change. Add your own list, supplier lists from Excel or CSV and, for construction, the Albanian price manual structure, Italian regional prezzari and DEI. Every price keeps its source and validity date, with price history.

Per tax category on the total, in a documented order: lines, overheads, profit, contingency, discount, safety costs, tax. TVSH 20% and 6% in Albania; IVA 22%, 10% and 4%, split payment, reverse charge, pension fund, withholding and stamp duty in Italy.

Yes. Invoices, including progress billing invoices, export as FatturaPA XML with the right VAT natures, split payment, withholding and pension fund. You send it through your usual SdI provider; Preventiv is not an intermediary.

Every estimate exports to PDF, Excel (with formulas and measurement sheets), CSV, JSON and XPWE, the exchange format read by PriMus and other Italian estimating software. Excel and XPWE can also be imported.

Yes. Every industry has ready-made widget services (for example wiring points, websites, menus per person); the builder turns them, or your own templates, into a few questions and shows an indicative price. One line of code on any website, WordPress plugin included; every request becomes a lead with a draft estimate.

From the Team plan: a versioned REST API with OpenAPI 3.1, test keys, a typed JavaScript SDK and signed webhooks for leads, sent and accepted estimates and progress billing. Business adds higher limits and usage-based billing.

Data is stored in the EU, encrypted in transit and at rest, and isolated per company with row-level security in the database. Every change is recorded in an audit log, two-factor authentication is available, and backups run daily.

Yes. Preventiv installs as an app on computer, tablet and phone. Estimates you have opened stay available offline; quantities and notes entered on site are saved on the device and synchronised when the connection returns.

The interface is in Albanian, Italian and English, and each user picks their own. The document language is independent: you can write in Albanian and print in Italian, or print bilingual documents.

Yes. Paid plans renew monthly or yearly and can be cancelled from Settings → Billing; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. You can export all your data before and after.
